Trusted to visualise a new era of Dyson water-based engineering using CGI storytelling.
To mark the launch of Dyson’s first fully water-based floor cleaner – a bold new step in their engineering innovation – DW Studio was entrusted to create a cinematic CGI film that brings the WashG1™ to life in striking detail. Designed as a continuous 60-second loop, the film takes viewers on a micro-scale journey through the product’s cleaning process, revealing the precision, beauty and ingenuity behind every droplet, fibre and mechanical motion.
Working to a demanding deadline, our team met the unique challenge of portraying a water-driven product entirely in CGI – combining advanced fluid simulations, lighting control and close-up realism to mirror Dyson’s design excellence. The result is a seamless “one-shot” sequence, designed for live events and now used across Dyson’s global marketing. A celebration of technical craft, creative trust and the shared pursuit of innovation between Dyson and DW Studio.

From Pre-Viz to Final Render - The Art of Our Process
Following extensive testing and development, the wireframe stage represents the final step before committing significant time to high-resolution simulations, lighting and rendering. At this point, every camera move, motion cue and compositional detail is locked – ensuring accuracy, consistency and client confidence before progressing to final production. Maintaining this precision from wireframe to final render is what guarantees that the finished film reflects both the creative intent and the approved structure in every frame.
