DW Studio was approached by Winmau in 2024, the goal? A close collaboration to produce & deliver three uniquely different product videos all under a immensely tight timeframe. Together we agreed on a solution, to create a single master video that drives the story, creation for the other two products. Please share with us our enjoyment as we present to you our creation. Detailed texturing is at the core of all our scenes. We’ve captured the richness of tungsten by emphasizing its unique qualities—its dense, metallic sheen and striking surface texture. The interplay of light highlights the material’s robust, almost otherworldly character, showcasing both its strength and its subtle, almost mineral-like grain.

Storyboards
In a remarkably short timeframe, we successfully proofed two storyboards by focusing on variations in colour and the physical product, yet each version conveyed an entirely different mood and tone for the video.
By adjusting the colour palette, provide by each unique dart — we were able to shift the emotional impact, creating distinct atmospheres for each brand of darts.
Similarly, the differences between the physical products allowed us to highlight different aspects of its design and function, further influencing the video’s overall feel.
This approach demonstrated how powerful even the smallest tweaks in visual elements can be in shaping a narrative’s mood and message.
