Sea Machines / Marine Autonomy System
Boston-based technology start-up Sea Machines approached DW Studio to promote their autonomous systems for self-driving work vessels. Working directly with the Sea Machines team, DW Studio developed an engaging fully computer-generated video that effectively communicated the various features and benefits of their software. It was important that a feeling of 'interconnected technology' was conveyed, so an effective visual style was created that pushed Sea Machines' branding to the max. The engaging approach and stunning, high definition renders successfully demonstrates the huge amount of control that the revolutionary software brings to users, connecting sensors, machinery and instruments. In contrast to the innovative 'demo theatre' scenes, real-world environments shows off the full capabilities out in the field, instantly communicating the wide-scope potential for maritime work activities with engaging on-screen graphics. Timescales for delivery were tight as the video had to be ready for the International Work Boat Show with over 10,000 attendees, this year taking place in New Orleans. Once again, DW Studio commissioned expert sound designers Zelig and collaborated with them to produce an inspired backing track and captivating bespoke sound effects.
