Marine Max teaser receives awards
A DW Studio animation for the luxurious Marine Max Galeon 500 Fly has received two prestigious American Advertising Awards from the American Advertising Federation of Florida. Marine Max announced that it is honored to have earned a Gold ADDY Award in the category of Online Film, Video, and Sound, Sales Presentation for the creative campaign, along with additional Silver ADDY Award at a district level. The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries a year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. “We are so very excited to accept a Silver and Gold ADDY Award from the American Advertising Federation,” Marine Max marketing director Abbey Heimensen said in a statement. “Having made strides in marketing over the past several years, this is certainly a great achievement.” The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation, the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Selection of the most creative entry in each category is affected by a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. A Gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. “The other entries were outstanding, and we are all so honored to be amongst the best. This goes to show that there is a bright future for the marketing and advertising industry,” Heimensen said.
