Network Rail approached DW Studio to produce a series of creative CGI videos to communicate the various processes that are associated with the electrifying of the railway across the country. Following our successful video on vegetation management, the next information video required was to show the actual process of electrifying the line through overhead line equipment (OLE). DW Studio worked closely with Network Rail's communication team to ensure that all aspects of this process were communicated accurately and effectively. The fully CGI video was used on video screens at public events, included as links within stakeholder newsletters sent to MPs and local authorities, used as nationwide press releases and included on Network Rail’s Facebook Community page. Image stills from the video were also used to produce an informative leaflet handed out at events and as maildrops to lineside neighbours.
